Description

The individual will work closely with many teams to develop the standards for Salesforce solutions, ensure Salesforce is meeting business needs, and the ability to communicate technical solutions to developers. Key successes will come from delivering Salesforce solutions that meet expected delivery timelines, ensure project implementation is meeting stakeholder needs, and meet expected return on investment metrics which will drive growth expectations.

 

Reporting into the Enterprise Architect, the role requires self-motivated, dedicated, and responsible individual with the ability to perform well under pressure.

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Collaborate with the business owners to document their ways of working in salesforce and recommend ways to improve the solution

• Work with business to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of developing requirements for new features

• Work with the business and product owners to develop solid solutions

• Describe and illustrate solution designs including justifications

• Effectively communicate technical solutions to implementation teams

• Review solutions developed by the implementation teams and make recommendations for improvements

• Work with product designer and developers to set the design standard for Salesforce solutions

• Develop a set of best practices for

   - Naming Standards

   - Coding Standards

   - Performance Standards

   - Security Standards

• Ensure that best practices are being enforced

• Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing and deployment of Salesforce

 

How You Will Qualify:

• 5+ years of experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects

• 3+ years consumer industry-facing experience

• 3+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with external systems.

• Proficiency in developing solutions using the following Salesforce technologies

   - LWC

   - Apex

   - Flows

   - Sales Cloud

   - Service Cloud

• Experience working with Energy and Utilities Cloud.

• One or More of the following certifications are preferred.

   - Certified System Architect

   - Certified Technical Architect

   - Certified Application Architect

   - Certified Integration Architect

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field or equivalent experience.

• Deep knowledge of the energy industry and retail electric provider business operations front to back

• History of managing large project implementations with many moving parts

• Excellent communication skills to translate complex problems using non-technical terms 

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, defining product strategy and roadmaps 

• Ability and desire to learn new technologies and support the continuous improvement

• Experience with change management best practices

• Conflict management and resolution

• Enthusiasm for working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

• A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.

• Be a proactive team player - we’re a small team with big ambitions in doing things at speed. As we work across a few channels, projects, and conflicting priorities, being able to navigate and juggle multiple things on the go is required as well as being proactive enough to anticipate the next steps and actions.

• Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail
